If you have respite in your NDIS plan, it gives your families and carers a short break from caring, while ensuring you continue to be supported safely.
Respite can be provided in your home, in another accommodation, or even within the community. It can be planned in advance or accessed when extra support is needed.
We work with you and your family to make sure our respite aligns with your needs, respects your routines, and supports the way you like to live your life and achieve your goals.
'Support that fits your family'
Our Support

Kaya lives in Halls Creek, and her parents sometimes need a break from caring for her. We provide support workers who visit Kaya at home on the days her parents need, helping her with activities, meals, and social time. This gives her parents a chance to rest, while Kaya still gets the support she enjoys.

Everyone needs a break from time to time to feel rested.
We have respite houses that people can stay in with a support worker (and sometimes family).
The NDIS call respite short term accommodation or STA. STA is usually a few days but can be longer (for up to 28 days a year) if your NDIS plan includes this.
You and your family can feel good knowing you’re getting the support you need to have a break, try new things and experience somewhere new.
