Far North Community Services is a registered NDIS provider founded, based and operating in the stunning Kimberley region. Our mission is to provide high quality, culturally sensitive support to individuals or families throughout the Kimberley region. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Disability Support Worker based in Broome.Broome Locals are encouraged to apply.  Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Understand how your role can ultimately support participants to live a good life.
  • Support participants to make their own choices.
  • Build the capacity of the participants’ you work with so they can live the life they want.
  • Provide support in accordance with the participants Individualised Support Plan in areas like daily life activities, personal care, medication management, community access, complex social circumstances etc.
  • Provide supports in a culturally appropriate manner.
  • Manage health & safety risks to participants, colleagues or yourself.
  • Review quality of support and service provided.
  • Meet all shift reporting, incident reporting and hand over requirements.
  • Follow Company policies, processes and procedures
  • Carry out tasks designated by Coordinator.
